I'm still trying to figure out how that instrument is designed to work - is it one button per song? If you want to see a tracklist of the songs go to the youtube location. These guys do pretty fun things with their music videos. They became well known for their one-long-shot of them on 8 treadmill machines for "Here it Goes Again". I'll put it below in case you haven't seen it. The music video on top is for "This Too Shall Pass", and is also based on the idea that everything has to work perfectly in one long shot, or you have to start all over. Who knows how many times they had to do it to get it right. It's interesting that, based on some of the videos being shown in class, like some of the stop motions, that videos can be impressive just by being obvious about the sheer amount of work it took to make. New music video for Hudson for the song Against the Grain by a guy named Jonathan Chong. "100s of hours pushing 1000s pencils around a table in a dark studio" Hudson - Against The Grain from Dropbear on Vimeo. Jamiroquai "Virtual Insanity" Neat music video, came out 15 years ago - these effects (except the animals) are not done with some sort of fancy editing tricks. They're either moving the floor or the building, but I can't figure out which! Hard to take your eyes away. And I'm pretty sure I remember he wore hats like that in all his videos. My brother and his friend made up silly rap songs in university. Every so often they get together and make a new one. They made a stopmotion music video to go with the most recent one. I'm especially impressed at how they must have fiddled with the timing of the words appearing to exactly match when they're saying them. And that they managed to rhyme Khalid Sheikh Mohammed! Their bizarre choices for examples of nouns make me laugh - they definitely didn't stick to easy ones. Nouns, Nouns, All Around from tanner evans on Vimeo. |
